To celebrate the local wine industry and to bring the delicate palates of the local vineyards to the public, the main wine producers organise wine festivals each summer to celebrate that year’s harvest. Offering entertainment and culture, all washed down with a large glass of fresh local wine, these festivals are a must-see for everyone!
Emmanual Delicata is a name that has been synonymous with good quality Maltese wine for more than 100 years. With humble roots starting as a family business in 1907, Delicata can now be found in every corner of the islands. The annual festival is held at the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta in August, and then another festival is held in Nadur, Gozo later during the month. Each event brings a mix of fantastic wine, great local food, and enthralling entertainment.
With spectacular views across the Grand Harbour and Three Cities, this event combines culture, wine, and amazing scenery for what is sure to be an unforgettable night.
